Charlie Chaplin

Hi,
My name is Charlie Chaplin and I am a very loveable cat. I thought t would be nice if I told the story of the family I adopted.. When I moved into my new castle, it took me a couple days to get used to all the different sounds but now I'm pretty used to everything. I even allow my two housemates to sit in the chairs I've taken over (if I get to the chair first, they can sit in another or on the floor). They bought me a really nice squeeky toy mouse that I quickly lost. So they bought
me another and now I have two of them that I bat all over the house. My new people seem to
really love me....I think they were going to change my name but decided "Charlie Chaplin" suited me very well. I have total control over my adoption situation and have the run of the castle.

Shortly after I arrived here, I was taken to visit a very nice vet for my wellness check. I think they took me a few days sooner than they were going to because I had a urinary trac infection.
For two weeks, they hid my medicine in some wonderful food they took from a can. I knew the
medicine was there but ate the food anyway to get better and make my housemates happy. I now follow them wherever they go. They scratch my chin, rub my tummy and brush my fur soI know they love me cuz I'm so happy and loveable. I think I have complete control over them.

I was treated very well while I was at Northwoods and really appreciate all they did for me. Since they took such good care of me, I was able to adopt my new family and I love them so much.

PS: That's me sittling on one of my thrones; I have at least one in each room.

Mia found some people

After spending four months at the Northwoods Humane Society, I finally found some people to adopt. My first few hours in my house were a little troubling, they already had another dog. Her name is Bixby, she's a 12 year old dog who is blind and doesn't want to play. Well, I hope we can work out our differences. My people set up this neat aerial dog run cable for me, but they'll have to fix it. I guess I don't know my own strength and I tore it up pretty good. But they have this awesome electronic doggy door. I get a special doodad for my collar and I can go in and out whenever I want and I get this HUGE kennel area to run around in AND THEY LIVE ON A LAKE!!! I hope that all of my animal friends at Northwoods get the chance to adopt some people like mine and I want to thank everybody at Northwoods for taking such good care of me and helping me to find my people, and a special thank you to Heather O'Meara for getting us together in the first place.
